We are an animal shelter run by 100% volunteers.

We are a nonprofit with our own 501 3c, which means all funds raised must be accounted for in and out! We are not associated with the Humane Society in any way!

Our sweet little Missy renamed Cocoa is home. ♥️Shawn got up super early to meet this little girl. They were on their way home by 9 am. Tracy had to work but was super excited to meet her new baby. Shawn and Tracy have adopted 3 pups from AHN through the years. We are so grateful for good friends.

Cocoa will spend her days being very loved. Dusty the kitty. Nikki the big sister and mom and dad are all so happy. But cocoa is the happiest pup ever….shes home. ♥️

So excited to post more good news Our snowey now Luna is home. When I called a great friend about snowey. She said Dave and I are on the way. 4 hours latter They met this sweet girl 🩷Thanks Leanne. We knew she would be a perfect fit you Dave and Noah.

His new family drove 11 hours to meet him and 13 hours getting him back home.

A big thank you to Rick and Joanna for adopting this cute boy and making his puppy dreams come true . Have a wonderful life little man. You deserve to be loved.

We're doing well! Petey is doing great for an old boy. He's definitely slowing down and sleeps a lot during the day but he's still healthy and happy! He's 12 1/2 now.

Thanks Shelly and Jenni for the birthday update and some pictures of Oakley and Diesel. They are 4 today!

Diesel loves to jump and play ball. He will sacrifice himself and everyone else’s safety to get the ball first. He’s always good for a smile and has the biggest heart.
Oakley is the best listener and her tongue is automatic. We’ve tried to control it without any success. She chases anything that has a tire and hasn’t quite learned it’s not the best idea.
