Hey all! Check out the fundraiser below which benefits YOUR Central VT Pioneers and also some local Central VT residents undergoing cancer treatments.

Our own youth (Ernie Lavigne) will be present this weekend. It would be great if you could come out and support as well!

The Central Vermont Pioneers extends our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of our annual Calcutta fundraiser. This year we raised $6,925 through the combined efforts of meal tickets, raffles, money board, and silent auction. It truly takes a village. Thank you ❤️🖤

Congratulations to the winners! We're already looking forward to next year's event.

Come watch some sled hockey today at the Civic Center in Montpelier! The CVP are welcoming some of our friends from the NEP NH team to run some scrimmages with both Rec and Travel players in the mix!

If you are in the area, come hang and make some noise! We will be there from 2:30-4:30!

The Pioneers travel team were away at league games in Maine this weekend! Our very own, Buddy T. joined the travel team this weekend with his son, Wedsel who also recently joined the travel team! The Pioneers are proud to have several super cool father/son duos!

In Game 1, Buddy helped hold down our defensive end. The neutral zone was capitalized and players passed the puck with intention. Troy played on defense the entire game, for the first time! The team displayed great hustle on winning the small battles that add up. Lost a little momentum in periods 2 & 3, resulting in a 3-1 loss against the New England Warriors.

Game 2 against the Springfield Thunderbirds started rough, with the T-Birds scoring 2 goals in period 1. Troy had a nice assist to Jakob from behind the net, giving us a point on the board. Wedsel participated in his first travel game face off! His constant effort and scrappiness helped motivate his teammates. Lee had some amazing saves that kept us in the game. Including some great glove saves. Tyler showing some extra effort and endurance as he carried the puck from the D-Zone into the offensive zone, giving his team the opportunity to shoot on net. Lost 3-1 but kept our heads in the game until the final buzzer blew.

Next league games are in Massachusetts on January 10th!

Save the date for Rec home games against NEP on January 18th!
