National Life Group Foundation At National Life, our values are simple: Do Good, Be Good, and Make Good. One of the ways we live those values is through our Foundation.

We support the causes of qualifying nonprofits, helping them to do good in their communities. We do this in several ways, including providing grants through our Foundation, giving our employees 40 hours of paid v

olunteer time annually, matching gifts, sponsoring events, offering in-kind donations, and more. In total, the Foundation awards $2 million annually to eligible organizations in Vermont and Texas (where our two offices are located) and spreads the good to educators and school employees nationwide through our LifeChanger of the Year program and other special programs. In 2018, we also adopted our cause: ending childhood hunger in Vermont.

Our Story

At National Life, we consider ourselves Do Gooders, something we don’t take lightly. After all, our values are Do Good. Be Good. Make Good. One of the ways we do good is through the National Life Group Foundation.

Established in 2006, the Foundation supports nonprofits primarily in Vermont and Texas, where the company has its campuses. However, it also reaches outside of this area to help school employees through the LifeChanger of the Year program and the National Coalition for Safe Schools. It supports National Life agents with the Agent Do Good Award and Do Good Tours. And it encourages employees to give to their nonprofits of choice with a match to their donation.
