Not only is this hearsay, but it doesn't address the fact that it was about 3 degrees during the evening in question, and a very easy way to cool a carcass. If you hunt you should have a plan to get your animal out, but that plan can include coming back in the morning like this hunter did. This is a typical post of our state's animal rights activists. Post>leave out facts>whip followers into a frenzy. Here are some of the gems from this post. "this hunter shouldn't have a license", "this is why land get's posted", " In the timeless words of Forrest Gump: "Stupid is a stupid does." There's an awful lot of that in this state."..................most of the posts to this page are series of illogical statements that touch upon triggers for their Vegan agenda.

Did you know that it is not illegal in to kill a mother bear with a cub? Heck, it isn't even illegal to kill a cub. You can even do so while hunting under the influence of alcohol!

Vermont's bear hunting season is a long one. It starts September 1st and runs through the end of November.

There are very few organizations that speak out against wildlife abuse masked as "conservation" and "tradition." Our #1 priority is wildlife. Not special interests or money. We will not be silent. Join us: https://www.protectourwildlifevt.org/subscribe
