🚨CE and a volunteer opportunity!🚨

"RAM is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide free, quality healthcare to those in need. We achieve our mission by community coalitions hosting our free pop-up dental, medical, and vision clinics across the nation. Our patients never receive a bill, and are never asked for ID, proof of insurance, or proof of income. Just healthcare with no strings attached.

We have a clinic coming up in Bennington, VT on August 8-9th, and we are in critical need of Vermont-licensed optometrists, ophthalmologists, optometric techs, and ophthalmic techs to volunteer their time with us to help serve neighbors in need.

Providers can network with other vision professionals, make a tangible impact in the lives of their neighbors, and even receive CE credit for participating - all in the same weekend!"

It’s time Modernize Our Eye Care Laws - Tell the Speaker of the House to move the bill!

Vermont has an opportunity to join 16 other states by passing legislation that allows optometrists to practice at the top of their education and training. �
S.64 is carefully crafted to ensure patient safety while expanding access to essential eye care. These bills require rigorous additional training, supervised preceptorships, and certification before optometrists can perform advanced procedures such as laser treatments, minor eyelid surgeries, and therapeutic injections.
