Happy Earth Day, Everyone!

Since Earth Day falls on a Wednesday this year, we thought some of you might feel like you're too busy at work to go out and participate in a community clean up, or plant a tree. But Earth Day is about more than celebrating on just one day and cleaning up outdoors. Little actions at both home and work can help out every day!

Here are a few tips for those looking to do more for our planet everyday, not just today. Take a glance and see how many of these tips you may already be doing and maybe there are a few new ones to add to your daily routine!

At Home:
Avoid washing dishes with running water.
Set your fridge temp between 38-42 degrees.
Use cloth napkins over paper towels.
Wash and dry only full loads.
Rinse laundry with COLD water.
Hang your wash to dry whenever possible.

At Work:
Send electronic copies of documents vs print-out copies.
Print papers double sided.
Share paperwork vs make multiple copies.
Reuse tubes and envelopes for mailing.
Purchase recycled paper for copiers.
Turn off lights in unused office spaces.
