Please answer this one quick question!!
We’re always thinking about what our next Kindness Coalition initiative could be and who in our communities might need a little extra help.

We’d love to hear from you. What needs are you seeing in your community that we might be able to help address through a future initiative?

In the past, we’ve provided groceries for single-parent homes with school-aged children and contributed to the fight against childhood bedlessness through Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Please don’t share names or anyone’s personal information in the comments. We’re simply interested in hearing about needs you’re seeing around you.

Chime in below. Your input could help us decide where we focus next!

For those who have just started following us over the past few months, this short video shares part of our story, where we’ve been, what we’ve seen already, and why we’re excited about what’s ahead.

Not every NeighborLink project requires a contractor or a skilled tradesperson.

Sometimes the greatest need is as simple as mowing a lawn, trimming w**ds, pulling brush, or helping someone catch up on outdoor work they simply can’t do anymore.

For an older adult, a widow, someone with a disability, or a neighbor going through a difficult season, those “small” jobs can feel overwhelming. But with a few willing volunteers, they become manageable.

You don’t have to be an expert to make a real difference. If you can push a mower, run a w**d eater, rake leaves, or lend a helping hand, there are neighbors who would be incredibly grateful.

If you’d like to volunteer, or if you know someone who could use a helping hand, visit give-kindness.org to sign up, submit a project, or learn more about NeighborLink.

Sometimes kindness looks less like a major project and more like showing up with a w**d eater and a willing heart.

Small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

NeighborLink connects people who have practical needs with neighbors who are willing to help.

That help might be raking leaves, replacing a smoke detector battery, hauling away a couch, fixing a handrail, or simply lending a hand to someone who cannot do it alone.

You do not have to be a contractor. You do not have to volunteer every week. You just have to be willing to help when you can.

Follow our page to see needs in our community, stories of neighbors helping neighbors, and opportunities to make a difference one project at a time.

Sometimes what we do as an organization is connect the people to helpful resources when we become aware of them…and with school getting ready to start back up we thought this is one worth sharing. It is an opportunity to donate but also have a need met and that is right in line with our vision at Kindness Coalition. Check it out and share with someone you think could be blessed by it.

This past weekend our very own Andrea Buck delivered pillows and mattress protectors that will go alongside the next Sleep in Heavenly Peace bed build, made possible through the incredible generosity of Discount Tire and the support of our community.

Thank you to everyone who donated and/or helped bring awareness to this important need. We can’t wait to share what’s next.

We have some great news to share about our SHP beds for kids initiative!
Discount Tire Corporation has stepped up and has funded the entire bed build! So generous!

Since the next build is now fully covered, Kindness Coalition will be bringing this fundraiser to a close early. All funds we have already received will still go toward the original bed initiative, exactly as planned.

We are very thankful for everyone who donated, shared our posts, and helped us bring awareness to Sleep in Heavenly Peace and the great need for beds for kids in our communities.

This was about more than raising money for one build. It was also about helping people understand that there are children in our own communities who do not have a safe and comfortable bed to sleep in each night. Having a bed of their own gives them a place to feel safe, get the rest they need, and have a better chance to learn, grow, and thrive.

Thank you to Discount Tire for stepping up, and thank you to everyone who helped us spread the word.

Now that this need has been met, Kindness Coalition is ready to shift our attention to the next one. We will share more soon! 🐎

🎙️ Episode 2 of The Give Kindness Podcast is here!

Have you ever wondered…

🏡 Who can ask for help through NeighborLink?
🙋 Who can volunteer?
🔨 What kinds of projects qualify?
❓ And what NeighborLink is not designed to do?

Whether you think you might need a helping hand someday or you’re looking for a meaningful way to serve, this conversation will help you understand how NeighborLink works and how you can get involved.

Take a few minutes to watch, then help us spread the word by liking, commenting, and sharing. You never know who might discover the help—or the opportunity to help—they’ve been looking for. For more information go to:
