As we wrap up the 2025–2026 school year, we want to say THANK YOU. ❤️

Thank you to every volunteer, family, business, staff member, and community supporter who helped make this year such a success. From donations and givebacks to event help and behind-the-scenes support, we truly could not have done it without you.

One of our biggest goals this year was to prepare for the upcoming school consolidation. Next year, we will grow in both students and staff, and we wanted to make sure PTO was ready to continue supporting our school community in the way our students and staff deserve. Because of your support, we are heading into next year stronger and more prepared.

With that growth, we also need to grow as a PTO.

This year, Meadowlawn PTO was led by a 5-member board, and we worked hard to make as much happen as possible for our school. But in order to continue providing events, activities, staff support, birthday bags, meal carts, student experiences, and more, we need more people to step up and get involved.

We are looking for volunteers who may be interested in helping with or even chairing events and activities next school year. You do not have to commit to everything. Even helping with one event, one activity, or one project makes a difference.

Success happens when we come together. ❤️

As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, we want to send one final THANK YOU to our incredible Meadowlawn teachers and staff!

This week, Meadowlawn Administration and PTO partnered together to celebrate the amazing people who make a difference in the lives of our students every single day. From “Livin’ the Vida Taco” 🌮 to flower deliveries 🌸, “Dirty Pop & Popcorn” 🍿🥤, “Baby Got Bundts” 🧁, and today’s “Ice Ice Baby” ice cream & float bar 🍦 — we hope our staff felt appreciated all week long!

We would also like to thank the businesses and community members who helped make this week extra special:

Olympic Day is Friday May 15th, and we are in need of a few volunteers to make this event run smoothly.

Concession Stand Volunteers will help prepare snacks and drinks for the students.

Restroom Attendant Volunteers will monitor restrooms to make sure they stay clean, stocked, and that students are using the facilities appropriately.

We’re having so much fun celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week at Meadowlawn!

Yesterday, staff enjoyed our “Livin’ the Vida Taco” taco & nacho bar lunch, and today students helped brighten the halls by delivering flower vases to teachers and staff followed by our “Dirty Pop & Popcorn” cart! 🌸🥤🍿

This week’s celebrations are proudly sponsored by both Meadowlawn Elementary Administration and Meadowlawn PTO as a small thank-you to the incredible teachers and staff who do so much for our students every single day.

We appreciate our Meadowlawn teachers and staff more than words can say, and we’re excited to continue celebrating them throughout the week! ❤️

As we wrapped up our final PTO meeting of the school year tonight, we are already looking ahead to next year.

With our district moving to a primary and secondary school model within Twin Lakes, one thing we care deeply about is continuing to provide fun and meaningful experiences for our students, like Carnival and other special events they look forward to each year.

The truth is, we cannot do it without volunteers.

We know families enjoy these events and we truly love putting them together, but we are struggling to get enough people to sign up and help. Without that support, it becomes very difficult to continue offering these opportunities.

Volunteering does not mean you have to commit to everything. Even showing up one time for one event can make a big difference and help us keep these experiences going for our students.
