GRANT SPOTLIGHT - Washington School social worker, Hayes Murray, knows the positive benefits of sand trays and wanted her students to have the opportunity to use them. With the help of a MAEF grant, her students now have access to sandplay on a daily basis. We are happy to be able to award these grants through fundraisers and sponsorships. Grants like these help us continue our mission of enhancing the experiences for our students in all areas of their education!

GRANT SPOTLIGHT! Pictured here are students from Mrs. Allen's 5th grade class building and coding robots. These robots were purchased through an MAEF grant to enhance the STEM opportunities and experiences for the students in our district. Thanks to generous donors and fundraisers, like our Reverse Raffle Event in February, the Monticello Area Education Foundation is able to award teacher grants each Spring!

WOW! We had an INCREDIBLE night raising funds for our foundation to support our schools at our first ever reverse raffle! There are SO many businesses and people to thank for helping to make this happen. Our board is extremely grateful for all the support and commitment to our cause. In the end, Chase Coleman and our DJ/Emcee, Diane Ducey from ESPN 93.5, decided to split the grand prize - each taking home $1,100. We are excited to see how much was raised for scholarships, tutoring, and teacher grants, but most of all we hope that everyone who attended had fun too!
