The Monticello Community Club had a meeting last night and it was decided to cancel this years annual Homecoming event held in July. There are just too many obstacles to overcome and too many variables that may change at any moment. And of course, the health concerns. Everyone has their opinions on this, please be kind now and always and know that MCC will be back bigger and better in 2021.

A BIG SHOUT out to all the volunteers of the Community Club that work tirelessly to get the job done each year for Homecoming and all our other events. It's sad for us as a community to not have this event, but it's going to hit the volunteers and workers hard, too. We live for that weekend!

- FFA Fish Boil at Lake Shelter at 5:00 - 7:30
- Variety Show at 7:00 at T&D's Bar and Grill
- Stateline Playboys plan in Main Beer Tent at 8:30

Don't forget dessert and cheese curds at the Lions/Lioness Food Stand!

Homecoming Parade on Sunday at 2:00 will have a special guest appearance: Grace Seffrood will be singing the National Anthem as our Veterans come through with the American Flag. This will be by the announcers platform on Main St.

The Color Guard will stop while Grace sings. Please show your pride in our country and honor our flag and our veterans.

SIDE NOTE: The parade will be a little backed up for a few minutes, so please be patient and enjoy your time with your family and friends.
