Jasper County FFA Gives Back and Earns for the Chapter!

On Friday, May 29, 30 members of Jasper County FFA volunteered their time at the Meadows Clay Shooting facility in Forsyth, GA. Students spent the day assisting with scoring for the shooting championship, earning valuable community service hours while helping support a successful event.

Through their hard work and dedication, the students also helped raise $1,000 for the chapter, making this a great opportunity to serve the community and support future FFA activities.

We are proud of these students for giving up part of their summer break to represent Jasper County FFA with professionalism and a strong work ethic. Thank you to all who participated and helped make the day a success!

We are excited to share that our FFA chapter has been awarded a $4,000 grant from the National FFA Foundation through the EDP Renewables Chapter Grants Program!

This generous support will help us continue growing our program, fund hands-on learning experiences, and expand our community service projects throughout the year.

A huge thank you to EDP Renewables and the National FFA Foundation for investing in our students and the future of agriculture. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity!

This morning, 6 of our students walked across stage to receive their FFA State Degrees! This is such a huge accomplishment. Another student received a full ride scholarship to the Washington Leadership Conference this summer!

Day 2 at the FFA State Convention was one to remember! 💙💛

Today, our members gave back by packing meals with Meals of Hope, explored opportunities at the career and expo, and attended the first general session.

Our favorite little mascot, Baby Josie, has been along for the entire trip and continues to make every day even more fun! 🍼💫

We can’t wait for tomorrow as we celebrate our State Degree recipients and recognize our WLC scholarship recipient as they are honored for their achievement! 🌟

We had a great first day at the FFA State Convention yesterday! 💙💛

Our members kicked things off by completing a meaningful community service project with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, helping build bunk beds for children in need. We’re proud to give back and make an impact!

We wrapped up the day with some fun and team bonding at Rigby’s Entertainment Complex 🎳

We’ve got a full day ahead and are having an amazing time in Macon! Stay tuned for more updates! 🌟

Reminder interest meeting tomorrow night for anyone wanting to show livestock next year!

Any students interested in showing on the Jasper County FFA show team next year are invited to attend our interest meeting on April 20th at 5:30pm in the high school ag room! We will discuss pigs, sheep, goats, and cattle! 🐖🐐🐑🐮
