Jerry Woodall Memorial Race for Life This is an annual race benefitting the ministry of HopePlace, Monticello. Jerry loved the Lord and his family. He was also an avid runner.

This annual race is run in the memory of our loved ones who ran the race of life well, regardless of how long or short their race may have been. This race also honors those currently fighting the good fight, running the race, and keeping the faith. The proceeds from this race benefit HopePlace Monticello, where Jerry Woodall served as a board member. A race, to benefit HopePlace, was his dream. We

are thankful to be able to carry that dream out in his memory. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 (ESV)

After a lot of thought and discussion, we have decided to discontinue the Jerry Woodall Memorial Race for Life. We held the race three times- in 2018, 2019, and 2022.

We have many wonderful memories of people surrounding us to support the race, love on our family, and remember Jerry. Thank you! We won’t ever forget your kindness.

If you’re attending the pasta dinner tonight, please enter the building under the front awning. If you are getting takeout, there will be someone there to take your order and get your meals. If you are dining in, someone will point you towards the fellowship hall. We hope you’ll come eat with us before the big game!

While pre-registration has closed for the live events, you can still register at www.runsignup.com/raceforlife as a virtual supporter/participant through Friday, 10/21/2022, at 11:59 p.m. You can also register for any event in person on race morning from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.

If you pre-registered, packet pick-up is today (Thursday) from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at HopePlace Monticello. If you can't make it by today, you can also pick up your packet at the pasta dinner or on race morning at the registration table.

We will also be delivering sponsorship and honoree packets this afternoon!
