WARREN, Ark. — Rhett Clanton, a senior at Warren High School, was awarded the 2026 Sam Clanton Memorial Foundation Scholarship on May 6.

On May 6, 2026, Rhett Clanton, Warren High School, was awarded the 2026 Sam Clanton
Memorial Foundation Scholarship.This is the fifth annual scholarship awarded by the Sam
Clanton Memorial Foundation, a non-profit- 501 (c)(3) organization.
The scholarship is open to both Hermitage and Warren High School senior applicants. This
scholarship is awarded in memory of the late Sam Clanton of Hermitage, AR who passed away
in July of 2020 and is targeted to students with plans to further their education after high school
in a trade field or majoring in agriculture at a four year university.
After graduation, Rhett plans to attend the University of Arkansas at Monticello to pursue a
Forestry Degree while being a member of the collegiate golf team. A scholarship committee
carefully reviews applications each year and chooses an applicant based on academic
excellence, financial need, and essay response.
Congratulations, Mr. Rhett Clanton on this great achievement.
