Dr. Richard Polt, Virtual Herman’s Keynote Speaker, is our national treasure. He has done more than anyone to usher in a new era of appreciation for our favorite analog device, the Typewriter. Many beginners use his book to guide, inspire, and enrich their lives as they use typewriters daily and become collectors. Dr Polt repairs typewriters for charity, attends type-ins, authors a popular website/blog, and was a longtime editor of ETC Magazine. Those are the highlights of a person who gives selflessly to “the Revolution”.
