Honoring Heroes: National Police Week is May 12-18,2024.

During National Police Week, we come together to honor, remember, and support those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. It's a time for law enforcement, survivors, and citizens to pay homage to our fallen heroes.

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week as Police Week. What started with a small gathering has grown into a series of events in Washington, DC, where tens of thousands of law enforcement officers from around the world converge.

Join us in honoring our heroes and showing appreciation for those who continue to serve and protect. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ–ค

๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’™Support the 703 Rebel Riders as they Cycle Across Illinois this July๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ–ค

The 20th Annual Cycle Across Illinois benefiting Illinois Concerns of Police Survivors will be July 11 - 14, 2024 and cover over 325 miles. In 2005 the Cycle Across Illinois bicycle ride was started as a memorial and fundraising bicycle ride across the state. Our riders and support members are a very special group of survivors, police officers, and supporters.

Each day, as we travel across Illinois, we are welcomed by grateful families, departments and communities. We all work hard to minimize our expenses so that more money can assist the families by attending memorials and retreats that assist them in their grief journey. We hope you will consider donating to our ride and organization as we continue to support our families and remember our fallen.

The Cycle Across Illinois bicycle ride recognizes and honors the extraordinary contributions of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. In 2023 several officers lost their lives due to different causes. The committee decided to honor the officers whose names will be going onto the National Police Memorial Wall in Washington DC.

We will be riding for:

Officer Andrรฉs Vรกsquez Lasso Chicago Police Department EOW:03/01/2023
Officer Arรฉanah Preston Chicago Police Department EOW: 05/06/2023
K9 Hudson Kane County Sheriff's Office EOW: 05/24/2023

Sergeant Francis "Frank" McGraw Chicago Police Department EOW: 05/6/1942
Patrolman Charles Hibsch Chicago Police Department EOW: 11/09/1947
Detective Todd Gillerlain Chicago Police Department EOW: 05/07/2020

This is a charity ride that raises money and awareness for the Illinois Chapter of Concerns Of Police Survivors, which includes the surviving family members, loved ones and co-workers of fallen officers. This ride has become an annual journey for all our riders, especially our survivors.
