State Convention days 3 and 4 are done! Our members have had a blast! We heard inspiring retiring addresses and speeches, heard from Governor Brian Kemp, attended student workshops, sang along with Will Mosely at the convention concert, and even had our chapter Treasurer, Molly Nichols, serve on the courtesy corps! Another shoutout to our chapter President Megan Nichols and chapter Vice President Perry Capes for serving as our chapter’s voting delegates!

We also would like to thank Snapping Shoals EMC for providing lunch for our members on Friday! We appreciate your support of our students!

Day two at Convention was a great one!

We attended the Career show and while we were there we participated in community service by packing meals for families in need!

We also attended the first general session tonight. We’re looking forward to a great rest of convention!!

We’ve had a great start to State FFA Convention 2026! On Wednesday, we started out the day building beds with Sleep in Heavenly Peace Macon. They provide beds to those without, and we were able to help assemble them!

We ended the night at Rigby’s with skating, arcade games, bowling, laser tag, and go carts!

Any students interested in showing on the Jasper County FFA show team next year are invited to attend our interest meeting on April 20th at 5:30pm in the high school ag room! We will discuss pigs, sheep, goats, and cattle! 🐖🐐🐑🐮

On Tuesday, our officer team attended the Spring Jasper County CTAE Advisory Committee Meeting! We were able to interact with community and industry leaders, as well as members of the school board. We also got a sneak peek of the new high school addition!

FFA Strawberry and Specialty Foods fundraiser pick up will be TOMORROW MARCH 11th from the middle school agriculture classroom. Pick up is after school until 5pm. Thanks for your support of our FFA Chapter!
