United Cerebral Palsy of Central Alabama is looking for a dynamic, energetic Employment Specialist to help individuals with disabilities find meaningful jobs in our community.

What we’re looking for:

Strong people and communication skills
Marketing, networking, or sales experience a plus
Comfortable with cold calling
Self-motivated and community-oriented
Passion for helping others succeed
Ability to complete paperwork accurately and promptly
Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed)

We are searching for an Occupational Therapist for Early Intervention work in the Montgomery area, specifically Montgomery and Pike counties. The ideal candidate for this position will provide occupational therapy services in a safe and effective manner, in order to enhance the development and independence of the United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile client. Must be willing to travel to client homes for Early Intervention therapy services. Position is a contract position.

Employment Specialist - Montgomery

We are searching for a part-time Employment Specialist for our Supported Employment program in Montgomery. This position is responsible for effectively recruiting and placing people with disabilities into supported employment. Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Rehabilitation, Social Work, Human Services or related field from an accredited education institution and/or at least two years’ experience working with people with disabilities – high school diploma or GED is acceptable for this position, provided applicant has at least two years’ experience working with people with disabilities.
