The Montgomery Baptist Disaster Relief team deployed to Anderson, IN from 31 Aug to 5 Sep. The team cleaned up two house that wad flooded. Thank you David Grimes, James Dunkin, Roy Pickering, Pete Smith, and Debbie Perry. The team worked on two homes, and offered encouragement and assurance that life would be better.

Thanks to these volunteers who cleaned up five locations in the Dalraida area of Montgomery. Each received damage from the June 23/23 storm. Anita Graydon, David Grimes, Roy Pickering, Pete Smith, Mark Silva, Norm Bell, Doris Wade, Bill Tucker, Debbie Perry, Timothy Powell, David Boyer, Debbie Boyer, Robert Clark, and Steven Jackson. Every year, disaster happens. Every year, Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief responds. Every year, there are training opportunities to credential new individuals from our dedicated churches. These volunteers help in recovery and cleanup efforts while sharing the gospel message. The attached pictures reflect some of the new volunteers who completed the chainsaw training this past weekend and joined the team. Thank you to the combined chainsaw team from Troy and Montgomery: Chuck Ash, Alyson Gremley, Averyt Walker, Donnie Walker, Don Wambles, Norm Bell, David Grimes, and David Spence. These served Christ by serving those impacted by Hurricane Helene in the Clearwater SC area. They met the needs of several homeowners and gave them hope. As they blessed the homewowner, they were blessed by the Lord. Thank you for giving if yourself and your time.

Thank you to members of the Montgomery Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers, David Grimes, Eddie Upshaw, Mark Silva and Debbie Perry. Who with Elmore Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers Les Brown, Bill Summerlin, Tim Rollins and Connie Rollins. They worked hard in the Texas heat on Monday and in wet conditions Tuesday through Friday. Their commitment to serve others in the name of Christ.
