Every day, all across Montgomery, the Save Our Streets team is on the ground doing the hard work that often goes unseen. From conflict mediation and violence interruption to mentoring, hospital response, school safe passage, neighborhood outreach, and community events — this team shows up for the people every single day.

This is more than a job. This is Community Violence Intervention. This is building trust, preventing retaliation, helping young people find another path, and standing beside families during some of their hardest moments.

Whether we are walking neighborhoods, checking on participants, helping at community events, supporting families, or working with community partners, the mission stays the same: saving lives and strengthening our city.

Proud of the dedication, sacrifice, and heart our SOS team brings to this work daily. The impact may not always make headlines, but the community sees it, feels it, and benefits from it.

Together, we continue working toward a safer, stronger Montgomery — one conversation, one intervention, and one act of service at a time.
