Tie and Doll recognizes Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month. We honor survivors, remember loved ones, and stand with individuals and families impacted by both causes.

Let’s lead with compassion, support one another, and remind our community that no one has to face their journey alone.

Our Pick a Date Fundraiser ends TODAY!

We are raising funds to support Tie and Doll’s youth programming and scholarships, helping provide meaningful leadership, enrichment, and educational opportunities for our young people.

There is still time to make a difference! Every donation, big or small, helps us continue investing in our youth and providing opportunities that can make an impact.

We had a wonderful time at Capitol Hill Healthcare playing Bingo with the residents! Our Tie and Doll Teen Board enjoyed helping with bingo cards, sharing laughs, and making memories.

We also brought some fun prizes such as snacks, cash, crossword puzzles, handheld fans, and lotions!

It’s official! The Tie and Doll Teen Board fundraiser starts today!

Our Teen Board is kicking off something a little different this year with our Pick a Date to Donate Fundraiser! 💛

Here’s how it works:

📅 Pick an available date from 1–31
💵 Donate the dollar amount that matches your date

For example:

Pick the 5th → Donate $5
Pick the 15th → Donate $15
Pick the 25th → Donate $25
Pick the 31st → Donate $31

This fundraiser is about so much more than raising money. It’s about teaching our young people leadership, confidence, communication, teamwork, and the power of using their influence to make a difference.

And, of course, all funds raised support Tie and Doll programming and scholarships. ❤️

So, find a Tie and Doll Teen Board member and ask them for their Pick a Date calendar. Pick a date, make your donation, and help us cheer our teens on!

Montgomery Public Schools is proud to welcome Dr. Ronnie A. Doughty as the new principal of Booker T. Washington Magnet High School!

A proud BTW Magnet alumnus himself, Dr. Doughty brings 21 years of dedicated experience in education, having served as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, assistant principal, district education specialist, and school leader. With a strong background and deep appreciation for the performing arts, his leadership is grounded in service, collaboration, innovation, and strong relationships.
