Still cannot get over how great our FFAF 2026 IVF Advocacy Day was this week! We had so many meaningful conversations with legislators about the need for a constitutional amendment to protect access to IVF and received so much positive support!
We are especially grateful for Speaker Nathaniel Ledbetter, who stepped out of his caucus meeting with his whole team to meet and take pictures with our families. We are also very grateful to Senate Pro Tem Garlan Gudger and Lt. Governor Will Ainsworth, who met with and spoke with our families! A huge thank you to Rep. David Faulkner, Sen. Matt Woods, Rep. Joe Lovvorn, Rep. Chris Pringle, Rep. Susan DuBose, Rep. Terri Collins, Rep. Travis Hendrix, Rep. Chip Brown, Sen. Tim Melson, Rep. Neil Rafferty, Rep. Alan Baker, Sen. Randy Price, Rep. Leigh Hulsey, Rep. Phil Ensler, Sen. Andrew Jones and many more who took the time to visit and listen to the experiences of our families.
We are also SO grateful for all the FFAF Advocates who traveled across the state, many with tiny babies and kiddos! Thank you so much for making the trip to Montgomery and letting our legislators know that we aren’t done protecting IVF! We have a renewed sense of enthusiasm and look forward to the work ahead!
