We know that when school is out, access to regular meals can become a challenge for many families. That’s why we’re grateful for local programs working to make sure no child goes without.

Open adoption is built on love, honesty, and connection. Research shows that, when safe and possible, open adoption is best for the child—giving them access to their roots, their story, and their birth family. 💜

Not all agencies prioritize open adoption, but we do. In fact, we only approve families committed to ongoing contact. Because every child deserves to know where they came from and to grow up with the love of both their families.

🔍Help Me Grow supports families across Alabama to get connected to health and developmental resources so children (birth to 8 years old) can start school healthy and ready to succeed. All services are provided remotely, and are totally free.

🔍We believe these services are helpful for families looking for medical care, concerns about a child’s development, help with preschool and daycare, and connection to other community resources.

Ethical adoption means putting the child’s best interests first—always. These four standards are just a few of the many ways we designed our program to holistically support women considering adoption.

We make sure expectant women make informed choices without pressure, adoptive families are fully prepared, and the child’s identity and history are respected.

Unfortunately, not all adoption services follow these standards. It’s important to ask questions, do research, and choose agencies that prioritize ethics over profit.
