---LAST CALL---

It's the final day of our givebutter campaign!

We appreciate every donation as we move forward with big plans for the future! Our community is our family, and we hope you all come out and join us as we continue to grow!

Our prom is almost here, and we hope to add more new programs like our up-and-coming garden club! We hope to have another trivia night soon and have a lot of other fun events planned, but we need your support to make it happen!

All of these programs take a lot of time, volunteers, and money, which is why we hope you're able to join us as we grow. Givebutter, our donation platform, is currently running a promotion where they're matching $10 of every new recurring $5 donation. Just go to https://givebutter.com/COLORSUnited, click the donate&tickets button and if you dont want a ticket to our our prom thats coming up in two weeks, click "I just want to donate" at the bottom and set up a recurring $5 donation.

We appreciate every dollar we get and have so much love for our community.

---HELP NEEDED---

We have a lot of awesome recurring programs that we host to bring our community together and give local LGBTQ youth and young adults a safe space to be themselves and we need your help!

Our D&D games happen the first Saturday of every month at 5pm! We have seperate tables for youth(13-18) and young adults(19-29). We have multiple DMs and are very beginner friendly!

The first SUNDAY of every month, we host a trans/gnc coffee meetup at Hilltop Open House at 9am for good vibes and good breakfast.

Our art club happens the 2nd Saturday of every month at 2pm and its always a ton of fun. We have big plans for the coming months including things like soap making and stamp making, but we also just hang out and paint sometimes.

Garden Club is the 3rd Saturday of every month at 10am! This is a fairly new club that's still taking root. We have a lot of plans and a lot of room to grow!

We also have twice monthly social meetups for both youth(13-18) and young adults(19-29) to play board games, watch movies, have pizza and hang out.

Most of these monthly programs cost a lot of time, effort, and money to make them happen! We get a lot of our funding through donations on Givebutter. Givebutter is currently doing a promotion where they match $10 of every recurring monthly payment of $5.

We humbly ask that everyone who is able, please go to https://givebutter.com/COLORSUnited, click the donate&tickets button and if you dont want a ticket to our our prom thats coming up in two weeks, click "I just want to donate" at the bottom and set up a recurring $5 donation.

We appreciate your contributions so much and look forward to being able to continue to grow our programs!

---ATTENTION PLEASE---

Colors needs your help!

We've been doing big things this year, and we're so excited for the year to come. Colors is a community driven program committed to providing a safe space for all LGBTQ+ youth(13-18) and young adults(19-29) in our area.

We operature out of the Bayard Rustin Community Center under Montgomery Pride United, where we meet up to hang out, play games, and take a break from the outside world. We have monthly art club, garden club, d&d for both youth and young adults, along with other various events spread out through the year like trivia nights, cookouts, or our upcoming annual prom!

We need each other now more than ever. We have to stand together and support each other as a community.

All of these programs take a lot of time, volunteers, and money, which is why we're so grateful for the donations we recieve through givebutter. Givebutter is currently running a promotion where they're matching $10 of every new recurring $5 donation. Just go to https://givebutter.com/COLORSUnited, click the donate&tickets button and if you dont want a ticket to our our prom thats coming up in two weeks, click "I just want to donate" at the bottom and set up a recurring $5 donation.

As many of you know, we had to cancel our open rehearsal for Wednesday evening due to a power outage as a result of the storms.
If you'd intended to come Wednesday to support our community partners at Montgomery Pride United, we have come up with another option!

We currently have low ticket sales for tomorrow night, Saturday May 9th, and would love for you to join us that evening to catch the show and still support the fine folks at MPU.
We will extend our offer of free admission for those that need it, and will also pass along 100% of the designated donations that you wanted to give MPU if you want to come on Saturday!

Just make sure our box office volunteers know that you’d like to donate.
If you can’t make it on Saturday, you can still donate to the wonderful team at MPU by visiting their website at https://www.montgomeryprideunited.org.

We hope to see you at the show!

Come see a free show! All donations made will go toward supporting our community!

Come see a free show! All donations made will go toward supporting our community!

📢 📣YOU CAN SEE OUR SHOW FOR FREE THIS WEDNESDAY!!! 🎭

That's right! This Wednesday, May 6th is our Walk-Up Wednesday rehearsal, and you can see the show for FREE and support a great local organization at the same time!

Here's a quick refresher on what it's about --

If you like supporting your local community theatre AND supporting other worthwhile non-profits in your community, now is your moment to shine!
Many of you know that this is our chance to give back to the community that supports us while we brush off the cobwebs after a couple of days rest from opening weekend.

We can't charge for tickets, but our team loves a good audience to get them back in the swing of things. So, come see the show for free, and share your spare change to help those that connect and care for our community!

This Walk-Up Wednesday we are highlighting the amazing folks at the Montgomery Pride United. They are a vital local resource for a variety of issues that our River Region LGBTQ+ community faces.
100% of your donations on May 6th will go to MPU. And, to make it even easier to give (even if you can't make it to the show), you can learn more by visiting their website -- https://www.montgomeryprideunited.org/

Thank you for supporting the Cloverdale Playhouse and the amazing folks at Montgomery Pride United!!!

We’re excited to host Prattville Pride’s Q***r Library Initiative on Saturday, May 2, from 10am until 3pm, at The NewSouth Bookstore. We positively love the underlying idea for it: The event is billed as "An American Empathy Project”! There’s a give-away of free books — to jumpstart the building of your q***r library. Enjoy a Drag Queen storytime, snacks, and lots of good community vibes. Come be part of the fun!

We’re working hard behind the scenes to make the Mythology: Gods and Monsters Prom something really special for our community! So far, we’ve raised $5,750 toward our $10,000 goal. That’s honestly incredible, and we’re extremely grateful for the support we've recieved from the community. But we still have a long way to go!

This event is completely free and open to all ages, because we believe everyone deserves a space to celebrate, feel safe, and just exist as themselves without worrying about cost. But putting something like this together does take resources! Everything from the venue to food to decorations and all the little details in between relies on the generosity of our community.

If you’ve already donated, shared our posts, or even just sent kind words; thank you. It means so much to us and the young people we serve. And if you’re able to give, even a small amount helps us get one step closer to making this night everything it deserves to be.

If donating isn’t doable right now, sharing this post helps more than you think.

We’re really proud of what this community is building together. Thank you for showing up for us and for each other.

And a special thank you to our partners: ACLU of Alabama, Yellowhammer Fund, and Montgomery City Councilman Andrew Szymanski who have partnered with us to help make this night magical.
