Civic engagement starts with the next generation, and Alabama’s future is bright! 🌟
The Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama is excited to host the 2026 National Civics Bee® Alabama State Finals on July 16 at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. Twelve outstanding middle school students from across the state will showcase their civics knowledge and share innovative ideas for strengthening their communities.
Join us in celebrating these young leaders as they demonstrate the importance of informed citizenship, community involvement, and civic responsibility. The event is free and open to the public!

Workforce continues to be one of the most important challenges facing Alabama businesses and the local chambers that serve them.

Alabama Chambers is proud to help share this upcoming virtual Lunch & Learn hosted by the Alabama SBDC at Troy University in partnership with the Alabama Office of Apprenticeship.

Train, Retain & Grow: Registered Apprenticeship for Small Business is designed to help employers understand what a Registered Apprenticeship Program is, how it works in Alabama, and how it may be used as a practical workforce strategy to train employees, build skills, improve retention, and strengthen the talent pipeline.

This session may be especially helpful for chambers to share with members in construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, hospitality, technology, and other industries where workers need structured, hands-on training.
