As we all slept soundly in our beds last night our brave men and women entered into battle. For some this isn't their first go and for some its new territory that they've only heard about up until now. Let us all keep them in our thoughts and prayers. Keep their families comforted as they undoubtedly worry about the safety of their loved ones that are fighting.

FYI: If you are not close to a VA facility with an emergency room and need emergency or urgent care services Call the Mission Act. They pay for 3 urgent care visits a year through the VA. You give them your zip code and they will give the closest location you can go to.

CONGRATULATIONS! 🎉 Meet Sgt. Danyell Wilson, a brave U.S. Army soldier from Montgomery, Alabama! Born in 1974, she joined the Army in 1993 and worked as a military police officer.

Through tough tests and training, she made history on January 22, 1997, as the first Black woman to earn the rare Tomb Guard Badge. She stood watch at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington. Wilson called it the highest honor ever, pure Army pride and courage!
