Last month, marked the closure of Renascence after two decades of dedicated service. Our mission has always been fueled by the desire to positively influence the lives of individuals seeking a fresh start and rebuilding their lives after incarceration.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to our board members, staff, and residents, whose commitment and inspiration have been the driving force behind our work for twenty years. We are resolved in our commitment to fulfilling our purpose and significantly impacting numerous lives throughout the years.

Fortunately, the legacy will continue as the house has become the new home for Mercy House / MAP. The vision for creating better futures will live on in the next generation.

We are immensely grateful for everyone's support!❤️

After two decades of service, Renascence has shut its doors, yet its mission continues to thrive within us. Renascence offered a comprehensive program that assisted formerly incarcerated men in making a successful and productive reentry into society.

We had one auction item that didn't sell in our spring fundraiser. It is still available for sale. It was valued at $1,100 and our opening bid was $500. We will consider reasonable offers.

Never been used! This is a power lift recliner that assists the sitting person to stand up and easily get out of the chair. It has a leather (or faux leather) finish. Never been used!

Delivery is available to the local Montgomery area, and you can come to our facility and try it out first.

Renascence. Inc., a Montgomery, AL nonprofit residential reentry program for men released from prison on parole, seeks an executive director. A degree in relevant field (criminal justice, social work, counseling) and experience with Corrections and/or Paroles are desirable. At least three years experience in pertinent field(s) required. Strong leadership, management, and communications (oral and written) skills essential. A heart for restoring men to meaningful living is fundamental. Competence with office technology and social media very helpful. Responsibilities include nonprofit management (program, budget, staff), resident management, and promotion of the program, including fundraising. $50K salary and benefits. We are looking for a refrigerator. Our house is FULL right now, and with 14 hungry men, we need more space for cold food. Our oldest refrigerator died recently. any new or used refrigerator will be welcome! Thank you!
