Yesterday, Rebuilding Together of South Alabama was presented the State of Alabama Independent Living(SAIL) Team of the Year Award by the Alabama Rehabilitation Association. RTSOAL and our volunteers were recognized for completing 8 ramp builds and donating over 30,000 volunteer hours.
We are honored to accept this award on behalf of our volunteer teams. This tremendous goal would not be achievable without the support of the following: The Home Depot, Vets Recover, Via Health, Fitness & Enrichment Center, Mobile South Alabama Lions Club,Knights of Columbus -Corpus Christi Parish, Phi Kapppa Pi, Westervelt Lumber, First Baptist Church Butler, SpringBank Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Leroy, YouthWorks, Choctaw County Baptist Association, The University of South Alabama-College of Allied Health(Physical Therapy and Radiology Departments).
