You know how you meet another believer for the first time and there is an instant connection and a willingness to go the extra mile to help them, love them, serve them? Well imagine never meeting that someone except though email and the hearsay of others. It makes it challenging to build a relationship and be intentional...at least it would be for me. But not for some other faithful OCF men and women.

Meet Becky Haggerty!

She joined OCF years ago but has been stationed overseas her whole career. Over the years she has received hand written notes, emails, and phone calls of encouragement and support from Joyce in the home office, from the OCF Executive Director, BG Warner, Heidi Martin and several other local and lay leaders.

It is a testament to me of the faithfulness of some who hadn’t met her, couldn’t physically see her, but knew this fledgling Christian needed encouragement.

I’m glad your here for SOS and look forward to being in fellowship with you while you’re here.

This morning was great fellowship and wrestling through how we can be better at loving others...especially those that know us best...like our spouses, our kids, our families. Thanks men for holding me accountable!

The largest OTS class to go
through Maxwell (the Godzilla class they have been dubbed) graduate this week. What a joy it was to be in fellowship with them these last 8 weeks. Our time together culminated at Camp Meriwether where the cadets were able to have some home cooked food, play soccer, pet the cow (June E. B. Cheeseburger), and hang out with Tormey kids.

Nick...from OCF Clemson came down with Anna to visit! It was great to have you. Nick even joined me at the Squadron Officer School study...not too many college students that get up for a 0630 study. Go Tigers!

Keesler visit was a joy! The chaplains and lay leaders have what appears to be a super relationship and there are a group of Lt’s meeting together for fellowship and Bible study. Pray for this high turnover location—lots of students pass through, so continuity of a visible leader is important. Finally back home!

Travel going great—thanks for praying for us! Great visits. We have failed to take enough pictures, but each stop has been precious. Currently at Keesler AFB.

Iso and I are heading to Eglin/Hurlburt/Pensacola Friday through Monday, then on to Keesler Tuesday. Pray for us to connect with OCFers, friends and chaplains.
