We Kickoff the Chivas Alabama Cup (Copa Chivas) tonight with a Penalty Kick tournament with $10K in prize Money. This weekend the $120K Copa Chivas games will start at 9:00
AM in our Championship Stadiums! We are excited about hosting this great event.

🚨 Montgomery United FC Announces New Head Coach for 2026 USL League Two Season 🚨
Montgomery United FC is excited to announce the appointment of Magnun Silva as the club’s new Head Coach for the 2026 USL League Two season.

Silva joins MUFC from Orlando City, where he served as Technical Director for the MLS NEXT program and Head Coach of the U17 team. He brings a wealth of experience to Montgomery, including time as an assistant coach in USL League Two with Nona FC and Jacksonville University.

Magnun holds a Master’s Degree in Coachingand coaching licenses from both the U.S. Soccer Federation and UEFA, highlighting his commitment to high-level player development and coaching excellence.

In addition to leading Montgomery United FC, Silva will also serve as Director of Coaching for Alabama FC South Youth Club and oversee the club’s USL Academy, further strengthening the pathway for young players in our community.

We would also like to thank Guilherme Soares, who previously served as Head Coach, for his leadership and dedication to the club. Guilherme has accepted a new position at the next level. We wish him continued success in this next step in his career.

No registration required — just show up, sign a waiver, fill out a pledge card, make your donation, and PLAY!

🏟 Event Format:
• Open pick-up games
• Vests/bibs provided to create teams
• If players are waiting, games will be 10-minute rotations
• YMCA staff onsite to ensure everyone gets plenty of time on the field
