A visit to the David Hall Family Farm, the first campsite and refuge for the Selma to Montgomery Marchers on their 54-mile journey. We enjoyed a nature walk and birding tour on their 80-acre property, where we listened to and learned not only about birds, but Civil Rights history from DaVine Hall-McGuire, David Hall’s granddaughter (an excellent historian and storyteller!).
