The Alabama Jail Association is currently accepting candidates for 3rd Vice President
All candidates must be a current member, in good standing with the association and committed to serving the board and association members with honesty and professionalism.
If you are interested and would like be a candidate, please submit your headshot and short biography to [email protected] by September 1, 2026.
Ballots will be passed out and collected at the 2026 fall conference and the new 3rd Vice President will be announced before the conference adjourns.
You must be a current member to cast a vote. Non-members are not eligible to vote.
As of this date we have one confirmed candidate.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss the duties of 3rd Vice President, please feel free to contact any board member or regional representative. You can also find the specific duties outlined in the ByLaws which are available on the website!

The 2026 Fall Conference will be October 6 - 9, 2026 at The Island House Hotel in Orange Beach, AL!

Early bird registration will open July 1, 2026! Hotel booking link will be available July 1st as well!

Each training day, during the last break, we passed out tickets to win a free conference registration! In order to get a ticket, you had to stay in class all day! Thank you to all of our wonderful members who showed up to training and participated with our instructors!

We will do this again at the fall conference and maybe step up our game a little! Stay tuned or come to the conference for details!

Spring Conference 2026
The final day of training and we were honored to have Rebecca Bensema with ABPP instruct on From Incarceration to Re-Entry.

We are so grateful for all of our instructors and appreciate each of them for spending their valuable time with us! We strive to give our attendees valuable training and I believe we accomplished that with these great instructors.
