Today, we gathered at The King's Canvas Gallery & Studio to recognize Indigenous People’s Day and honor Indigenous culture, history, and the ongoing fight for environmental justice and the protection of Indigenous people and their land.

Thank you to the Alabama Indigenous Coalition , Valerie Adams, Tori Nicole Jackson, speakers, and community partners for making this day meaningful. Protect the land. Protect the people.

But the ART is still OUT! 🎨 Join us TODAY from 4–7 p.m. at The King's Canvas Gallery & Studio for the Art Out the Vote Exhibit, featuring talented local artists, food, and music. Come experience how creativity and civic engagement come together!

And after you check out the exhibit, keep the civic energy going and head over to Alabama State University for the Rock the Vote Rally! 🗳️

There’s plenty happening in Montgomery today to get informed, engaged and connected.
