Healthy relationships are built on love, respect, trust, and safety—not fear or control.

As we continue recognizing Domestic Violence Awareness Month, One Place Family Justice Center encourages everyone to learn the difference between healthy relationship behaviors and warning signs of abuse.

If you or someone you know needs support, One Place Family Justice Center provides free domestic violence case management, safety planning, advocacy, and referrals.

One Place’s Voices for Safer Communities Campaign

This October, in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, One Place Family Justice Center continues partnering with community leaders across the nine counties we serve to raise awareness about domestic violence and encourage others to join the effort.

This week, we are proud to feature Mayor Jae'ques Brown of the City of Greenville, Alabama, representing Butler County, one of the nine counties we serve.

We thank Mayor Brown for using his voice to emphasize the importance of ensuring survivors feel safe, supported, and connected to the resources they need. His message reminds us that creating safer communities is a shared responsibility.

We are grateful for your partnership and shared commitment to supporting survivors, strengthening families, and creating safer communities for families and children. Together, we are making a difference!

Our Autauga & Elmore County Family Advocates and MDT Coordinators, Casey and Alicia, recently attended a Mission Tour at One Place Family Justice Center, alongside Wetumpka Police Department Investigator Davis and Lt. Calhoun.

We are grateful for opportunities like these to connect with our community partners, learn more about the important work being done, and strengthen the relationships that help us better serve children and families in need.
