At One Place Family Justice Center, we stand with survivors. We know that the trauma of sexual assault, r**e, and domestic violence can have lasting effects on a survivor’s emotional and mental well-being, including depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts.

One Place offers free crisis counseling, advocacy, and case management services to help survivors find a way forward toward hope and healing.

You can help. Refer a survivor. Share our services. Spread the word. The more people who know help is available, the more lives we can reach.

Thank You, Central Alabama!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us to welcome Dr. Bonnie Sullivan, Ph.D. as the new Executive Director of One Place Family Justice Center.

We were honored to spend the afternoon with our community partners, supporters, board members, and friends. Your presence and encouragement made this event truly special and reaffirmed the power of collaboration in building safer communities.

As we begin this new chapter, we look forward to strengthening partnerships, expanding our impact, and continuing to provide hope, healing, and support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and related trauma throughout Central Alabama.

“What this agency does is that it offers victims and survivors services in one spot,” Sullivan said. “If someone comes in, they can get those services in one spot. Because if you're coming in traumatized or you've gone through trauma, the last thing that you want to do is have to go from one place to the next place.”
