HEAL Conference October 11, 2024 - Cancellation Notice

We regret to inform you that the HEAL Fall Conference scheduled for October 11, 2024, has been canceled due to low registration. This decision wasn’t easy, as we were looking forward to connecting with all of you and sharing valuable insights.

For those who have registered and paid, we have sent you a personal email and will be reaching out soon to process your refunds.

Hurry! Time’s Running Out to Join Us at HEAL Fall Conference 2024 on October 11 (Register by October 5, 2024)

Update: If you’re planning to attend the HEAL conference, please email your registration form by October 5. We’re eager to host the event, but we need a minimum number of attendees and haven’t reached that yet. Your prompt registration will help us move forward as planned! The Board will send out an email on Saturday to confirm whether the conference will proceed or be canceled.

Our Fall Conference is coming up on October 11, and we’re looking forward to an amazing event! However, we’ve only heard from a handful of people so far, and we want to make sure no one misses out.

Please register by October 5th so we can plan accordingly. We need to make final decisions soon about holding the conference and will decide on October 5th. AUGUST 2024 MINI-SESSION: "Harnessing Emotional Intelligence: From Definition to Professional Impact" Thursday, August 22, 2024, 12 Noon – 1 PM. Presenter: Sarah Jamison, MA, Education And Training Manager, UAB Health System Office of Patient Experience and Engagement. Members will get link to the zoom meeting. Objectives: 1) Define emotional intelligence. 2) Explain the personal and professional importance of emotional intelligence. 3) Describe the five domains of emotional intelligence. 4) Analyze the role of emotional intelligence in caring professions. 5) Suggest strategies to improve emotional intelligence.
