Trail Life Troop AL-0236, chartered by Frazer Church, is a Christ-centered outdoor ministry for boys, fathers and father-mentors to experience adventure while developing character, integrity and leadership. The K-12 program centers on outdoor experiences that build a young man’s skills and allow him to grow on a personal level and as a role model and leader for his peers. Living the Trail Life is

a journey established on timeless values derived from the Bible. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe, and valuable Christian learning experience for boys. We are dedicated to make this a success by providing training for young men, that they may be thoroughly equipped to follow the example of servant leadership set forth by Jesus Christ.

A Christian sees great dignity and value in human life because we are made in the image and likeness of God himself. All humanity: men and women, boys and girls, infants and elderly, born and unborn, sick and healthy, the vigorous and the vegetative, the sinner and the saint – are created in God’s image and are worthy of respect, compassion, and care.

In God’s eyes, our value is not based on our gender, our skin color, our physical ability, our mental capacity, our successes, or our failures. “God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Gen 1:27)”

For the next month, Trailmen will spend a month examining the special value God places on humanity, studying the role we play as God’s image bearers, and serving their community in ways that respect and promote all life.

Trail Life USA Troop AL-0236 is chartered by Frazer Church in Montgomery, AL and serves the Central Alabama region. Engaged in real-world challenges, boys experience camping, hiking, and fishing; they develop skills in riflery, archery, and canoeing; they learn character and leadership in a practical hands-on manner that is naturally engaging. At Trail Life, boys find Christian male mentors, fathers and sons connect, important relationships are fostered, and boys find opportunities to achieve significant accomplishments.

The K-12 program centers on outdoor experiences that build a young man’s skills and allow him to grow on a personal level and as a role model and leader for his peers.
