The 2026 MPAC scholarship winners were recognized at our Recruitment Information Meeting last Sunday. Congratulations to the following: President's award- Kensley Williams from Alpha Gamma Delta AGD; First Place- Mia Nicholson from Pi Beta Phi, Second Place- Camilla Loard & Jenna Chandler shared the Kappa Delta scholarship; and our Misc Scholarship: Henlee Gunter from Alpha Chi Omega.

Thank you to all who came to our information meeting yesterday. Big shout out to Bill Alverson, the King of Rush, and Painted Pink for joining our presentation.

If you missed, you can still submit your information by April 30th. That is a hard deadline!!!! Please message us for the two address you can drop your information to. ALSO- everyone must also email their form, resume and picture to our email address listed at the bottom of the form. We need that no later than April 30th. Many of you turned in yesterday that have not emailed the info so please get in asap.

Question/answer time!
1- it may rain tomorrow. Will you still hold the event.
Yes! We will be inside. Great practice for the week of recruitment as it often rains that week. You won’t melt!
2-I don’t have the picture I want to include to turn in.
Go ahead and turn in the best we have. Use your favorite you get later to register for recruitment with your school or share with anyone writing a rec for you. Different pictures gives more of a 3-D impression of you anyway!
3-do I really need to submit 16 copies if my school doesn’t have 16 sororities?
Yes!!!! Please trust us on this!!!
4- I’m bringing my 16 copies. Do I still need to email them? Yes!!!! See answer to #3!
5- how long will the meeting last tomorrow?
Typically allow an hour. However we are super excited to have our guest speaker and want him to share as much information as possible so go ahead and plan for it to last longer. Please be respectful of his time and traveling to us and don’t get up before he is finished. Bring all your questions with you-moms & daughters. And yes daughters- it’s ok for moms to ask questions. There are no bad question!

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow at 2:30 pm!

Montgomery area hs senior girls coming to our meeting this Sunday: there seems to be a trend this year of girls posting on social media what looks like a resume but is actually a request for sororities recs. Do you need to do this? NO! Please do not post a request online and then later send your information to total strangers. You are best served by people who know your or your family to write a rec for you. While most may be totally safe and innocent, you never know who may encounter that one bad apple. BE SAFE!

Montgomery area high school seniors- when you come to our event this Sunday, no matter what college your are going to and how many sororities are there, please submit 16 copies of your photo, MAPC Recruitment form and resume. ALS0- don't forget to ALSO email all three items to us at: [email protected]. We need both the 16 hard copies and the digital version emailed to us. Kuddos to the 3 people who have emailed to us thusfar :)

Some more answers to questions:

1-Do I really need to attend? yes, please. Why else would we go to all this trouble? 😀
2-What to wear on the 19th? There is no required dress code but most girls wear a dress-don't over think it- we aren't "rushing" you. Most just wear what they wore to church that morning.
3-Resumes- best to keep to one page, 2 at most. Totally fine to print on regular printer paper. No extra credit points for fancy paper! AND PLEASE- DO NOT SPRAY PERFUME ON YOUR RESUMES! You are not Elle Woods!
4- Do I turn in my 2026 Recruitment Information form and resume at the meeting? YES!!!!!! We really need them all turned in that day!
5-How can I quickly get extra copies of my pictures to attach? Go visit your neighborhood Walgreens. Scan in and print. And remember 4x6 photos please.

Montgomery area HS seniors- PLEASE READ CAREFULLY-how to complete your 2026 Recruitment Information Form: 1)download the form to your computer (it is a word document) 2) TYPE in your information (not everyone's handwriting is legible) 3) Save completed document to your computer 4) Print 16 copies on regular printer paper 5) STAPLE a 4x6 photo (with your name written on the back of each) to the TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER of each form where is says "staple 4x6 photo here" 6)Print 16 copies of your resume and staple to the BACK of the 2026 Recruitment Information form 7)Place all 16 copies into one large envelope (not 16 individual) and turn in at the April 19th meeting. **Important** NO paperclips (your forms may become separated). NO spiral binding of your forms. ONE and ONLY one large envelope. DO NOT SPRAY YOUR FORMS WITH PERFUME!!! LASTLY- email your photo, 2026 MAPC Recruitment Information Form AND your resume in one email to: [email protected]

HS senior girls and moms- we are exploring an exciting change to the format of our Recruitment Information Meeting on April 19th. Keep following this page and share with friends who are considering sorority recruitment next school year. ALSO- our event starts at 2 pm that day but we ask you to please not schedule anything else before 4 pm that day one doesn't disrupt the meeting if they leave early. Thank you!
