Dedicated and committed 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 has 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 volunteering 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐜𝐤 VFD in Elmore County.

Tommy Sanford, Fire Chief, is an incredible man! His dedication to serving the Santuck community is unmatched! He has spent over 50 years serving the Santuck community with genuine love and compassion.

Tommy Sanford is one of the most hard-working, god-fearing men you will ever meet. He takes pride in protecting the Santuck community and everyone in it.

Even now, nearing 75 years old, Sanford still responds whenever he can. More than five decades ago, he attended one of the first meetings that would eventually lead to the creation of the Santuck Volunteer Fire Department after a family in the community lost their home because there was no nearby department able to respond.

Colbert County Association of Volunteer Fire Departments is proud to recognize the brave firefighter veterans and military service members who serve our communities.
