Young’s Mentoring Program (YMP) is an organization that provide in-home services to at-risk youth and their families. Services include, therapeutic mentoring, counseling, behavioral modification techniques, and etc. YMP provide direct services and interventio

ns to include the entire family. YMP assist at-risk youth and/or troubled teens with the skills and knowledge they need to become more self-sufficient, goal-oriented, and empowered to change. Emphasis is placed on rebuilding, restructuring, and reinventing the thought process. Success begins with the idea of change and direction for those seeking personal growth, guidance, and support from a positive mentor.

The City of Montgomery Parks & Recreation is launching a brand‑new Aquatics Program at the Therapeutic Recreation Center’s heated indoor pool (604 Augusta Ave). Starting September 8, residents of all ages can sign up for swim lessons and aquatic fitness classes that build confidence, safety, and lifelong wellness.

Programs include Aqua Tots, Aqua Teens, Aqua Adults, aquatic exercise classes, and Open Swim — all led by certified lifeguards.
