Did you know there is a recommended order for nurses to display professional credentials? 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

Displaying credentials correctly reflects professionalism, education, licensure, certification, and accomplishments within the nursing profession.

The recommended order for listing nursing credentials is:

1️⃣ Highest earned degree
2️⃣ Licensure
3️⃣ State designations or requirements
4️⃣ National certifications
5️⃣ Awards and honors
6️⃣ Other recognitions

Example:
Jane Smith, DNP, MSN, RN, NEA-BC

✔️ DNP = Highest degree
✔️ MSN = Additional degree
✔️ RN = Licensure
✔️ NEA-BC = Certification

Using credentials consistently helps promote credibility, professional identity, and public trust in nursing.

The Arkansas Nurses Association encourages nurses to proudly display their professional achievements! 💙
