Happy Easter from The Salvation Army Northern Division.
Today we celebrate the hope, love, and promise of new life through Jesus Christ. He is risen, and His resurrection is a powerful reminder that light overcomes darkness and love conquers all.
This truth is at the heart of everything we do. On this Easter, we are reminded that our mission to serve others, meet human needs, and share compassion comes from His example and His sacrifice.
May this day bring you renewed hope, peace, and joy. He is risen indeed.

Fighting Hunger Together
Every day, families in our community rely on The Salvation Army to have enough food to eat. Through our Food Support programs, The Salvation Army is helping ensure no one goes hungry.
Your support puts food on the table for neighbors in need. As demand grows, your generosity matters more than ever.

Together, we can continue to strengthen our communities.

The Salvation Army Northern Division serves Minnesota and North Dakota. We provide food, shelter, and spiritual care to the most vulnerable in our communities.

❤️ How the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign Helps LeSueur County ❤️

You’ve probably seen our iconic red kettles and bell ringers around LeSueur County during the holiday season — but do you know how much of a difference they make right here at home?
💡 Here’s how it works:
Every dollar donated into a Salvation Army Red Kettle in LeSueur County STAYS in LeSueur County. Those funds are used exclusively to help local individuals and families facing unexpected hardships. When a donation is made to a Salvation Army in another county, that donation is given to that Salvation Army location to serve those community members.

🧡 Because of community support, in the past year alone, the Salvation Army of LeSueur County, has directly served over 1,761 local residents who reached out to us in Le Sueur County Salvation Army office for help.

These are your neighbors — families, seniors, children, and individuals — who needed assistance during difficult times.
💙 Your donations support emergency social services, including:
Eviction prevention help.
Automobile repairs.
Utility and rent assistance.
Youth programs.
Emergency hotel vouchers to house someone short-term during their hardship.

We are dedicated to support individuals and families in crisis
help during emergencies and unexpected hardships.

⏰ Our Red Kettle Campaign runs for just six weeks, and we have until January 6 to raise the funds needed to continue providing these critical services. At this time, our campaign is behind goal, and the need in our community continues to grow.
🎁 How you can help before January 6th 2026:
Drop a donation into a red kettle when you see one
Mail a donation to:
The Salvation Army – LeSueur County Red Kettle Campaign to 151 Elm Ave SE Montgomery Mn.

👉 Please be sure all donations are clearly marked “ Le Sueur Red Kettle Campaign” so they can be used for emergency social services in LeSueur County. As always, if you wish to make a donation to our Foodshelf, please mark that donation to the Salvation Army Food Shelf, as those gifts are restricted to providing essentials within our Foodshelf and used to provide food items for community members in need of food help.

Every gift — no matter the size — helps ensure we can continue supporting LeSueur County residents when they need it most.

Thank you for standing with your neighbors and helping us do the most good, right here at home. ❤️

If you have any questions about donating or volunteering, please reach out - we would love to connect with you.

Thank you to our friends, business partners and community members for supporting our mission. Because of your support, we are able to provide hope. Your kindness truly makes a difference. Thank you for standing with us and caring for your neighbors.

Today is the day.

Back 2 School Resource Fair,
4-6 pm. Families must have students Pre K-12th grade, attending schools in Le Sueur County, to participate.

We are graciously seeking volunteers to help ensure the Back 2 School event is a success, and we need Helpers!!

A sign up QR code is attached to check out the positions we need help with. Tasks such as: prepping backpacks with school supplies, helping with registration, greeting families when they arrive, traffic controll, providing assistance with questions, helping to finish last minute details to ensure the event is ready by 4pm.

Check out the QR code to see what we would love to have assistance with.

We also could not make this event happen without the amazing community partners and generous donors: The American Legion and Auxiliary of Cleveland, Duck Cup Memorial, Le Sueur Lions Club, Le Sueur United Fund, Sheriff's Youth Project of Le Sueur County, MVAC, Treasures in Town, VFW Post 1803 Le Center and the Salvation Army. Without the support, this event would not be possible. Thank you ❣️

This event is not held at the Montgomery Food Shelf. Please note the event location is at TCU in Le Center.
