• Student voice and self-advocacy — beginning even in elementary school
• Transition from middle school to high school, graduation and adult life

• When an advocate can help—and when a matter may need an attorney
Students who are able to participate are encouraged to participate.
Because advocacy should eventually move from:
“I speak for my child.”
to
“I advocate WITH my child.”
and ultimately:
“My child knows how to advocate for themselves.”
