On September 28, 2025, 21-year-old Christopher Washington was shot on East South Boulevard in Montgomery.

Three people were hit by gunfire that night. Christopher did not survive.

🚨 ESCAPED ALABAMA INMATE RECAPTURED 🚨

An Alabama inmate who escaped from the Mobile Community Based Facility/Community Work Center on June 2 has been recaptured.

Jackie Anthony Boyett, 41, was taken into custody on June 5 in St. George, Georgia, by the Florida United States Marshal Task Force after being on the run for nearly three days.

According to the Alabama Department of Corrections, Boyett surrendered without incident. Authorities reported that no violence was involved in the arrest, and he was not armed at the time of his capture.

Boyett is serving a 28-year sentence for First-Degree Robbery and is currently being held in the Charlton County Jail pending his return to Alabama.

The Alabama Department of Corrections credited the Florida United States Marshal Task Force and assisting law enforcement agencies for their role in locating and apprehending the escapee.

🚨 CAN YOU HELP IDENTIFY THIS SUSPECT? 🚨

The Prattville Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual pictured in connection with a Theft of Services 3rd Degree investigation.

Police say on March 24, 2026, this unidentified white male checked into the Montgomery Marriott Prattville Hotel & Conference Center for a two-night stay.

During his visit, he accumulated $1,430.96 in charges. After he checked out, hotel staff discovered the payment card used was reportedly fraudulent/stolen, leaving the business with a significant financial loss.

The suspect was last seen leaving the hotel in an unknown make or model silver sedan.

📍 Location: Montgomery Marriott Prattville Hotel & Conference Center
