We are saddened to hear of the passing of JoJo Fritz with Where's Jo Jo - The Pink Bus. We had the privilege of spending time with her and her husband Tom when they unveiled their pink bus and again at the recent Pink Out the Park event at DABOS Park.

Tom has said that JoJo wanted him to finish the bus and take the trip they had planned with or without her. We hope you will visit their social media pages and send some encouragement to the family during this difficult time.

Join us and Baptist Health - Central Alabama in welcoming Breast Surgeon Oncologist, Dr. Samantha Lloy to theirUAB Medicine Breast Health Clinic!

Dr. Lloy received her medical degree from the Saint James School of Medicine Anguilla, in the eastern Caribbean as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Cape Breton University in Nova Scotia, Canada.

She completed her General Surgery residency at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. She went on to complete her Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Saint John’s Cancer Institute in Santa Monica, California.
Board certified in General Surgery, Dr. Lloy’s clinical interests include benign and malignant breast disease, breast conserving surgery, advanced oncoplastic breast surgery, ni**le reconstruction, mastectomy with reconstruction or aesthetic flat closure, and management of patients at high risk for Breast Cancer.

Dr. Lloy is a proud member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, Society of Surgical Oncology and American College of Surgeons. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, trying new restaurants and cuisines, and traveling.
