After an incredible 30+ years with Troy Parks & Recreation, Dan Smith is beginning a well-deserved retirement! Throughout his career, Dan has made a lasting impact on his community and on the parks and recreation profession across Alabama.

We’re especially grateful for Dan’s many years of service and leadership with the Alabama Recreation & Parks Association. His dedication, knowledge, and commitment to the profession have helped strengthen parks and recreation throughout our state.
