The Kireka School for Children with Special Educational Needs is located in Kireka, 7.07 miles from Kampala City. The different special needs serviced in the school include: epilepsy, down syndrome, autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and bi-polar. Currently, the school has over 100 students ranging from 5-35 years old, with limited support from the government. Since 2018, Promise International has been assis
ting Kireka school by supplementing the feeding program. Currently, we are providing eggs, milk, and beef for weekly nutrition. We have started a medical clinic that serves the children and the teachers at the school. We have also started dressing these amazing angels, and have made considerable structural renovations, as well as painting the old buildings. Future Projects:
With thanksgiving, we managed to acquire 10 acres of land where we shall build a brand new school. The current school has limited space, and we believe once the school is completed on this new property, these children will thrive holistically. The new property will enable these children to participate in farming, and learn other skills to be more productive. The first phase of construction is expected to start in 2020. We are in dire need of prayers and financial support to have this project started. We pray that Jesus shows you how best you can support this project.
