Y’all had such a wonderful time connecting and sharing moments with the incredible director of Bridging the Gaps, , and the founder of Monument Labs, Paul Farber—two of my all-time favorite people. Both of these gentlemen were fantastic hosts, friends, and mentors, and I now consider them my brothers. Paul showcased a remarkable museum exhibit that thoughtfully highlighted “Rising Up” at the Philadelphia Museum of Art the rich history of boxing, which I found truly enjoyable. Andre not only excelled as a host but also took me to a spot called the Black Dragon Takeout, where I indulged in delicious BLACKN’ese food prepared by a talented team in the neighborhood. I highly recommend trying the sweet potato chicken and collard green egg rolls! This 32-hour getaway was exactly needed to reset and recharge. I am incredibly thankful for both of these men, especially for the brilliance they contribute to the realms of art, history, and monuments. By the way, the “Mothers of Gynecology” is featured in a book called MONUMENT LAB available at Monument Lab and will soon be in our bookstore.
