Furry Feature of the Week – Weston!

Meet Weston! Weston is a fun-sized, 35-lb poodle mix with a big personality just waiting to shine. We see a little spaniel in him as well, which makes for an interesting combination. Regardless of his breed, we are certain you will find that Weston is a definite keeper!

Weston was found running along a country road and followed by a good samaritan trying to help him. When Weston finally tired, he allowed the gentleman to scoop him up and take him to a shelter. The rest is history...he is now at STAF and ready to prove to you that he is one very special dog.

Like many neglected doodles, Weston's coat was severely matted and had to be shaved. While he may be missing his fluffy locks for now, his adorable personality more than makes up for it.

When you first meet Weston, he can be a little shy and unsure. Give him a few minutes though, and you'll quickly see his sweet side emerge. He enjoys being petted and spending time with people who are patient and kind. Once he's comfortable, Weston transforms into a goofy, playful little guy who loves showing off his zoomies in the yard.

Weston loves attention (who wouldn't?) and is ready to jump into your lap and settle in for what he hopes are endless belly rubs. He gets along with his shelter mates and is sweet natured with all the volunteers. Look into his eyes and you will instantly connect to his kind soul.

Furry Feature of the Week – Aries!

Meet Aries! Aries is a beautiful short-haired lady with a gentle spirit and soulful eyes to match. She lost her home through no fault of her own when her owner was no longer able to keep her, and we were happy to make our shy girl’s acquaintance.

Though she may seem reserved at first, Aries is a delightful, sweet, dear girl who simply needs a little time to feel safe. Once she realizes attention is coming her way, she blossoms and will quietly pop right out of her shell for affection. Now residing comfortably among her kittymates, she gets along just fine with the other cats in her room.

Aries would thrive in a quiet, low-key home where she can enjoy cozy safe spots and a calm routine, but she will absolutely appreciate being doted on. With patience and love, she will reward her person with loyal companionship and gentle devotion. DOB: 12/2023

They’re in foster homes in TN GA NC. We do adopt nationwide but in most cases require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up.

🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR LULU 🚨

Lulu is a sweet, silly, affectionate 3‑year‑old girl who’s been thriving in foster care — cuddling with her people, playing with toys (and proudly shredding them), and soaking up all the love she can get. She warms up quickly and her playful, mischievous charm keeps everyone smiling.

But Lulu has recently tested heartworm positive and now needs a NEW foster home where she can be kept calm, low‑activity, and fully isolated from other dogs during treatment. Her current setup can’t provide the isolation she needs to stay safe.

💗 About Lulu:
• 3 years old
• Playful, affectionate, a total cuddlebug
• Loves toys, car rides, and hanging with her people
• Crate trained and settling beautifully with structure
• Would benefit from continued manners and leash work

Lulu can be adopted with Duke or separately, and she’s happiest with plenty of people time.

If you can open your home to help this sweet girl heal safely, please reach out — Lulu deserves a calm, loving place to recover.
