DC Glory Youth Wrestling: Strentghening, Body, Mind and Soul
To all my Facebook Friends, Supporters and Visitors to our website, Tuesday November 26 is giving Tuesday and I am asking for your help. Our program is introducing Wrestling to an area in the city where our children do not know the sport of wrestling. We are located at the DC Dream Center in Southeast DC and since being there our program is growing and we are becoming a part of the community. Our goal is to be give boys and girls the opportunity to learn a new sport. In addition we want to be a resource to help build wrestling in The DC Public Schools. As coaches we not only teach a sport but help guide our children with life issues that they may face, including the importance of being good sports, being good students and having a strong faith to guide them in life .
We are the point of getting our wrestlers some competition. We are a Chartered Wrestling club with USA Wrestling and have been for 3 years. In order for our kids to compete we need Shoes, Singlets, headgear. In addition we always can use mat supplies (tape, cleaner, mop heads).
