What does a Co-op Day actually look like? From the first hello at 9:00 to the last goodbye at 2:30, here's a peek at the rhythm of our Thursdays: prayer, lessons, laughter, lunch, and a great many pencils. 📚

Our first month of Deo Gloria Co-op is in the books, and our hearts are so full. It has been such a joy to watch these students settle into their classrooms, make new friends, learn from one another, and embrace the work of learning together.

This week, our Latin students were busy working through their declensions—a small glimpse of the thoughtful, sometimes challenging, but always rewarding work happening throughout our co-op each week. I'm also so proud watching our students wrestle with difficult things, encourage one another, and slowly realize, “I can do this!”

One month down, and we are already seeing so many little glimpses of what we hoped this community would become: families learning together, growing together, and pursuing what is true, good, and beautiful.

Teacher Training is complete, and we are so thankful for the amazing teachers who have spent part of their summer preparing for the year ahead!

Their willingness to serve our families and invest in our children is a gift to our co-op community. We can’t wait to see all that God has in store for this year.

Join us in thanking and praying for our teachers as we begin another year together! ❤️📚

Behind every successful co-op year is a team of dedicated servants working faithfully behind the scenes.

This summer, our administrative team has spent countless hours planning schedules, communicating with families, training teachers, coordinating logistics, and preparing every detail for the year ahead.

Their hard work and commitment help make our co-op a place where students can learn, grow, and flourish in Christian community, and we are deeply grateful for each member of our admin team and the many unseen ways they serve our families; as we look forward to the start of a new year, please join us in thanking them for their dedication, sacrifice, and love for our co-op—we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another wonderful year together!

Investing in our mothers means investing in our students! 📚 Our team attended the Memoria National Conference this week, learning from some of the best minds in classical education and bringing home new ideas to enrich our co-op.

We learned not only how to become better educators, but how to become better women devoted to faithfully passing on the classical tradition. Along the way, we formed new friendships and deepened the ones already begun, strengthening the community that supports both our teachers and our students.

How many of our co-op's moms can you spot? They've been attending the Memoria National Conference this past week to learn how to better serve their families and the families of our co-op.

She's studied flashcards, timelines, and is preparing to march into her Famous Men of Rome final like a true citizen of the Republic. 🏛️📚 “Fortes fortuna juvat”… and hopefully those who remember all the kings in order.

After reciting “The Flowers” by Robert Louis Stevenson, our students drew their imagination- proving that poetry, when properly planted, tends to bloom rather quickly. 🌼

Each drawing is a small testament: what begins in careful words often blossoms into careful seeing. It turns out that when children learn to notice flowers in verse, they cannot help but notice them everywhere.

A good poem, much like a good garden, rarely stays confined to the page.
