After reciting “The Flowers” by Robert Louis Stevenson, our students drew their imagination- proving that poetry, when properly planted, tends to bloom rather quickly. 🌼

Each drawing is a small testament: what begins in careful words often blossoms into careful seeing. It turns out that when children learn to notice flowers in verse, they cannot help but notice them everywhere.

A good poem, much like a good garden, rarely stays confined to the page.

Last week at co-op, our students turned simple bubbles into beautiful works of art! From swirling colors to unexpected designs, every piece was as unique as the child who made it.

Hands got messy, laughter filled the room, and memories were made—just the way learning should be.

Our second graders have enjoyed these books so much this year 🩷

This program gently introduces students to classic, living books that build both reading skills and character. Stories like Little House in the Big Woods draw children into rich language, meaningful themes, and a slower, more thoughtful way of reading.

What sets it apart is the intentional structure—students aren’t just reading, they’re narrating, discussing, and learning to truly understand what they read. Vocabulary, comprehension, and expression all grow naturally through these timeless stories.

It’s more than a reading program—it’s an invitation to fall in love with good books. ✨
