We provide a place for Christian groups to rent so that they can bring people to Christ. We provide a place for individuals and families to come to draw closer to Christ.

What an amazing weekend filled with fellowship, families, fun, worship, baptisms, stories and celebrating! Thank you for all the support throughout the past 70 years. We are so excited about the next 70 years as El Porvenir continues to be 'the place where God changes lives'! Here are a few highlights from this past weekend.

We are excited for everyone to arrive and celebrate our 70th Anniversary this weekend. If you are arriving on Friday night, please arrive after 6:00 pm and registration will be open until 8:00 pm in the Dining Hall. If you are arriving on Saturday morning, registration will be open 7:30-9:00 am in the Dining Hall. We are looking forward to celebrating with each one of you!

We are happy to announce that Darrell Lanford has become our new Guest Services Manager. He began working with El Porvenir in July of 2026 and will be living full-time on our camp property with his family. Darrell served as a full-time youth minister in Oklahoma and Texas for 20 years and then in 2021 transitioned into backpacking and river rafting outdoor ministry before joining our team at El Porvenir. We are excited to have Darrell, Michelle, Phoenix and Anberlin as a part of our El Porvenir camp family!

Our 70th Anniversary celebration is just around the corner. The deadline to register is at midnight on August 22nd. Come spend the day with us as we celebrate all that God has done and will do at El Porvenir Christian Camp!
